Ask the panel

One statement a month. Named researchers.

We put one statement about how work is changing to researchers in economics, organisation design, management, process science and law, in English and Spanish. Each votes agree, disagree or uncertain, says how sure they are, and adds a line if they wish.

Forming now. Invitations go out in November 2026. No votes yet. Names appear only with each person’s written permission, and we publish the result even when it goes against us.

Statement 1

“Within five years, most large organisations will describe work as lists of tasks rather than as job roles.”

Tests the flagship’s first claim: atomic work.

Votes: not yet published.

Statement 2

“When an AI agent’s action at work causes harm, a named person in the organisation should answer for it.”

Tests our position that a named person answers for every capability.

Votes: not yet published.

Statement 3

“An organisation cannot safely redesign work around AI until it has an accurate picture of how its work flows today.”

Tests the case for a twin first.

Votes: not yet published.

How it works

  • One statement a month, chosen because it tests part of our research.
  • Each panellist votes agree, disagree or uncertain, gives a confidence from 1 to 10, and may add one line.
  • We publish the votes with names, only with permission, next to our own view. A split panel is a result too.
  • Not on the panel? Tell us what you think, or read the case against us.
